How are we different?
You get to choose how we are paid
Traditional Broking Service
You make the decision as to how we are to be paid for our services. Using this traditional service model, it is your Lender that will pay us to provide you our credit services.
Rarebreed would typically get paid up to 0.77% of the loan value at settlement (Upfront Commission) and then up to 0.22% pa, paid monthly for the entire life of the loan term (this could be 25 – 30 years)
On a $400,000 loan we could receive an upfront commission payment at settlement of $3,080 and an ongoing trailing commission of $880 pa (In the first year, paid monthly).
Each month, for the term of the loan, the trailing commission is paid to Rarebreed based on the outstanding balance on your loan.

We are challenging the system; a system you may not even be aware of. When a mortgage broker says their service is free and that the Lender pays them, don't be fooled.
We all know nothing good comes for free. In fact, You are paying their commission and it's built into your interest rate.
At Rarebreed Finance, we offer a mortgage service that's fair and it's the right thing to do.

At Rarebreed Finance, we do things differently...
We offer you the choice of a Value-based Service, getting you your Home Loan (from any of 30+ Lenders) on a flat fee basis and it doesn't matter the size of your loan. It takes no more work to get you a loan for $250k or $1,000,000, so why should the broker be paid four times as much.
With Rarebreed's Value-based Service offering, 100% of the Lender's commissions are paid to you - both the big upfront commission following settlement and then the trailing commission, paid every month, for the life of your loan.
If you apply those commission payments back to the loan (or held in mortgage offset) you'll pay your home loan off years sooner and save many thousands in interest costs. Paying your home loan off years sooner also saves you all those years of mortgage repayments.
